2006 – the GenTac Folder from William Henry Knives
This collection (GenTac
comes from Gentleman’s Tactical) evolves the traditional
vision of the gentlemen’s folding knife, updating it with
dynamic modern lines and offering an integrated pocket
clip for easy carry.
Each piece is crafted from
the highest grade alloys and natural materials on the
planet – we use our wide range of elegant organic inlays,
from shell to fossil materials to carbon fiber, for
scales.
The blades are hand-polished
from our patent pending Wave Damascus, laminated ZDP-189
powder metal steel, and custom forged damascus by Devin
Thomas. The pattern of the blade is married to the frame
and scale to create a collection where each piece deserves
equal consideration and admiration
The frames are crafted from
either titanium, damascus, or mokume. Titanium offers
unparalleled strength and weighs half of what a comparable
steel frame would weigh; mokume and damascus are just
plain beautiful – exotic tapestries woven in metal
Every GenTac features inlaid
gems in the locking button and thumbpeg, and each is
finished with a titanium pocket clip (reversible),
titanium screws, and stainless fittings.
A unique serial number is
engraved into the blade, and each knife includes a
Certificate of Authenticity and our wood presentation box.
